The Oriental Chemical Works (P) Ltd. Kolkata was established in 1930. The Company was the first to introduce Dye Penetrant Inspection materials in India in 1960. In 1962 the Company started commercial production of dye penetrants and specialty maintenance chemicals in India for the aerospace industry under a technical collaboration with a renowned British Multinational Company. Today, ORION Liquid Dye Penetrant products match in quality in equal terms with international brands and are reliable and very cost effective with excellent technical support.

The Production facilities are located in three units in Kolkata and Howrah and includes more than 90,000 sq. ft of manufacturing, analytical, research & development and warehousing facilities.
