Wire Mesh Welder

Mechelonic Engineers offers a Wire Mesh Welder designed for the economical manufacture of welded steel wire fabric for general use and conforming to IS specifications 1566/4948 as per the welding range specified. The wires can be either galvanised or cold drawn. The application of high current and high forging pressure under precise control of a special welding controller and a PLC based sequence controller results in high quality electro forged weld joints that meet the highest standards. The machine is suitable for 24 hours producing wire mesh in coil form. The machine as a standard is available in two basic sizes, 8 feet and 6 feet widths. Each of these models is flexible and of modular design. The number of pressure heads, number of wire grippers, and capacity of welding transformers can be easily changed depending on specific requirements at the time of order. All parameters like wire pressure, current and time are easily adjustable and this makes the machine perfectly suitable for, construction mesh, commercial mesh and poultry applications. The machine can be easily adjusted to get various cross wire and long wire pitch. The controls are done with the help of programmable logic controller. The PLC has also got an alphanumeric display, which announces different fault conditions like over temperature, no water flow, wire dropping fault, etc. It also will be displaying weld counter and be programmed for batch jobs. Technical data: wire diameter – 2.6 to 6 mm; machine power –350 kVA and 450 kVA; material – low carbon steel; weld force – 150 kgf/head; cross bar pitch –25 and 150 mm; long wire pitch – 25 to 150 mm; and mesh size – 2500 mm wide.
