Using a high-speed electronic switch, the DC voltage is converted to high frequency AC output. The output is rectified and filtered to produce smooth, low ripple DC welding output. One of the benefits of inverter technology is the reduce the size and weight of the transformer up to 75per cent and provide energy saving more than 60per cent over conventional power supply.
