Orbital Systems offers the AmTech Ultraspace 2000, a totally automatic system for splicing (joining) of wires in any combination up to 30 sq mm sections. It is lightweight and has modular construction. The system allows splice parameters to be programmed and sequences of welding parameters to be set up. This makes production of harnesses very easy. These features make it ideal for use as a stand- alone machine or as part of other automated systems. The machine eliminates expensive resistance welding process and produces welds of exceptional quality time after time. It provides for feedback of all weld parameters to ensure conformance to all standards. The company also offers solutions for other non-ferrous joining/ welding problems through copper tube sealers (Ultraseal) and general purpose (Ultraweld) machines.
