Welding Power Source Unit

Quality Engineering (Baroda) has developed a combined thyristorised controlled plasma arc cutting, TIG and MAW welding power source unit. Saving of precious electrical energy is an advantage of this thyristor controlled unit over the conventional transducting controlled machine. The unit is available in the range of 32 mm, 50 mm, 80 mm and 100 mm for SS cutting. The TIG/MAW process can be carried out up to 600 A. The transformer is made of 100% copper winding with class "H" insulation. In can withstand input fluctuations. A suitably designed choke is provided for almost spatter less welding and good arc stability during cutting/welding process. The essential feature like up slope/down slope of current during X-ray quality welding process can be supplied on demand. The machine has a no-load current, high efficiency and low noise operation.
