It is intended for general fabrication work in the shop or on-site and rapidly measures the following weld features: angle of weld preparations, excess weld metal, fillet weld length, throat size, misalignment and weld sizes for butt weld and butt weld reinforcement. The scales are graduated in metric units, and the gauge supplied in protective case with an instruction leaflet.
