Spot/projection welding machines

Spot/projection welding machines conforming to International standards are now available with Incoil Transformers. The water-cooled transformer conforms to IS standards and has primary and secondary coils of solid-state electrolytic copper and core of high-grade electrical steel. The upper electrode is actuated via a quick follow through device by a heavy duty 2-way cushioned pneumatic cylinder, controlled by an electrically operated 4-way solenoid valve, compressed air at 15 to 100 PSI acting on the pneumatic cylinders, provides the necessary electrode force. The machine is provided with air filter, air lubricator, air pressure, regulating valves, electrical pressure switch to prevent the weld from taking place until full pressure is obtained in the cylinder, throttle valve.
