Spot Welders, Rocket Arm Type

Kriton Weld Equipments Pvt Ltd offers pedal and pneumatically operated, rocket arm type Spot Welders. These are pedal or pneumatically-operated and electronically controlled welders. Pedal operated models cover 6, 10, 15 and 20 kVA machines whereas pneumatically-operated machines are available in 15, 20 and 30 kVA capacities. A heavy-duty, steel-fabricated body with streamlined appearance houses the transformer, pedal bearings, solid state timer and a electromagnetic contactor, electrode arms with electrode holders carrying electrodes and foot-pedal are fixed to the front side of the main body whereas the pressure-control mechanisms and initiating switch are attached on the rear side of the body. In case of pneumatically-operated machines, air filter, air lubricator, air pressure, regulating valve, electrical pressure switch and all air-connections are provided on the main body. Electrodes, electrode holders and arms are water-cooled and provided with suitable hose connections. Specially designed, low leakage reactance, suitably cooled transformer, having specially insulated and impregnated windings, is mounted directly on to the body. Tap change links provided on the transformer adjust welding current between 50 per cent and 100 per cent. Kriton weld equipments are conveniently used for welding ferrous and nonferrous metals and their alloys. Besides spot welding, other applications are stitch welding, electro brazing, cross-wire welding, resistance heating and soldering. Users include, but are not limited to, engineering workshops, manufacturers of electrical instruments, containers, barrels and drums, telephone, radio, communication devices, clocks, kitchenware, textile machinery's and automobile spares, bicycles, motor cycles, scooters, auto-ancillaries, toys, air conditioners, refrigerators, transformers, motors, switchgears, etc.
