Linear Welding SPMs – MIG & TIG Process

For automation in welding process, Future Automation Technologies offers a range of special purpose machines for MIG and TIG processes. This includes an SPM for automated longitudinal welding of aluminium, SS and MS sheets. This SPM comprises of the following components: pneumatic actuated finger type split clamps’ machined mandrel with copper back up bar and gas purging; motorised traverse carriage unit; pneumatic slide for torch up and down; and 3-axes micro slides for fine positioning of the torch.
