Sohal Electric Works is a manufacturer of welding, cutting, heating and gathering machines. The product range includes MMA inverters, MIG/MAG/TIG inverters, spot, projection, butt, seam, metal gathering, plasma cutting, resistance heating and induction heating machines. The company offers an Inverter Arc Welding Rectifier, Model PSM180, based on fast switching IGBT devices. IGBTs are advanced version of Mosfets. These machines are designed and developed in-house with most of the parts made in India. All machines are tested individually for under volt, over volt and performance. These machines are able to withstand Indian power supply conditions and also work on gensets. Inverter is the name of technology, which is used for converting voltage and current levels up or down. It is replacement of conventional line frequency transformers with advantage of power saving, better power factor, small and compact size, lightweight and portability. Due to benefits of this technology more and more equipments are building better by adopting this technology. Salient features: based on latest IGBT inverter technology; low power consumption and high efficiency; spatter free smooth arc; hot start adjustable; light weight and portable; wide supply voltage range; suitable for 2.5 and 3.15 mm electrodes; and under volt, over volt and thermally protected. Accessories: 3 mtr welding cable with holder, 2 mtr earth cable with clamp.
