The Model 628 arc-percussive welder offers consistent and reliable welding of similar and dissimilar metals. Arcpercussive uses short energy discharges, enabling safe welding of temperature sensitive or electronic components. The low force requirements of the arc-percussive means minimal mechanical shock to materials of low columnar strength. Arcpercussive is a direct welding process that results in excellent weld integrity, durability, and consistency. Many combinations of similar and dissimilar materials of varying diameters can be, welded, including difficult to weld materials such as nitinol, aluminium, tungsten, and copper.
