Capacitor Discharge Stud Welding Units

Adroit Technologies offers Hruschka Capacitor Discharge Stud Welding Units. Models c44 and c66 are the smallest and lightest units in their performance category on the market. They are also usable as portable welders. The sunlight-readable graphic display shows clearly the adjusted values and information about the current state. Expressive icons and logically constructed menus offer clear structured operator guidance with only three buttons – independent of the spoken language. Exact reproducible charging voltages, a precise sequential control and a permanent self-supervision of all function sequences ensure an excellent welding's evenness. All this is possible due to the application of forward-looking current logic in conjunction with the latest micro-controller technology. In the case of studs until M6/Ø6 (c66 – 130 V charging voltage) it is possible to reach up to 25 cycles per minute. Welding studs until M8/Ø7.1 (175 V charging voltage) it is possible to perform up to 15 cycles per minute. As welding currents are at disposal capacities of 44.000µF, welder type c44, and 66.000µF, welder model c66. The charging voltage is fully adjustable between 50 and 200 V. Both models support the contact welding procedure as the gap welding procedure. The built-in over heat protect system offers an additional safety and improves the welder's achievement. While the temperature increases a ventilator turns on gradually, then the loading capacity is reduced by approx 20%. In the last step the unit will be turned off. The upper temperature limit will not be exceeded working by normal temperature and performance so that both last system steps will not be initiated. Owing to the automatic voltage selector the units work in all power supply systems from 95 until 120 V or from 190 until 240 V and 50 or 60 Hz. Set up tables for the most common stud diameters are retrievable. The counters for the number of weldings and the operating hours are part of the standard equipment. The integrated self-test-function provides information about the safety detectors as well as about the capacitor's state.
