- SmartWeld is an electronic device which is fixed on the power source end of the welding machine.
- SmartWeld captures the operating parameters from the welding machine, performs edge intelligence and transmits the information to the cloud using established IoT protocol. Welding machine profile along with control limits is settable on the machine from the cloud. Data is available in real time in cloud where dashboards & reports are provided for productivity, quality, costing & condition monitoring.
- It has sensors to indicate weld current, weld voltage, weld feed rate, RFID data for operator ID/job ID, relay output, idle reason, wire selection, and GPS (optional).
- Its communication mode comes with choice of GSM 2G/4G/Wifi with internal antenna.
- SmartWeld has an intelligence edge by providing information on arc start/stop time; weld duration & number; weld current alarm (upper & low limit crossing, duration); other parameters status at time of weld current alert; and sensor scaling & conditioning.Â
