Swaging Machines

Santec offers Swaging Machines. These rotary swaging machines are used for tubes or pipes depending on the size and design of swaged tubes. The machines are very robust in design and capacity from 25 to 150 mm OD of tubes. Double sealing arrangement prevents scratching of bore in case of seal failure and back up seal offers additional sealing enabling to use machine for some time at a little pressure drop while awaiting seal replacements, thus avoiding downtime. Seamless honed barrel (steel) will be used to give longer seal life. The frame of the machines are fabricated out of ultrasonically tested quality plates and fully stress-relieved after welding for longer life of the machines. For vertical machines, all the guide and support pillars are duly ground and hard-chrome plated for any dent, scratch and corrosion resistance and more strength. These machines can handle a variety of jobs involving reduction, expansion, beading, cone/cup formation etc.
