Stamping Machine for Piston Rings

Amis Engineers had designed and developed a pneumatically operated machine for Marking/Stamping piston rings from diameter of 50 mm to 100 mm. This machine works on compressed air supply of 4-7 kg/cm². The controls are through electronic timers and relays, which control the sequence of feeding, stamping and ejecting. The machine can give an output of approx 10,000-12,000 rings per shift. The cycle time can be varied by timers provided in the control panel depending upon the size of the piston ring being stamped. The machine can be reset from one type to another type of ring in approx 30-60 minutes. The control panel is conveniently located on the left hand side of the operator and can swivel by about 4-45° on its base. This machine can be used for any similar marking/pressing/stamping operations. The company can develop any marking system on similar lines.
