Raj High Tech Ventures offer Special Purpose Machines. It is used for cross-hole drilling. The overhead gantry places two star shafts on two carrier plates, which are lowered in to respective fixtures. Four pneumatic self-feeder type "Suhner" drilling heads do drilling and chamfering of cross-holes on the two star shafts. Two debarring heads carry out burr removal operation of longitudinal holes. The drills are checked for possible breakage and if found intact components are lifted up from the fixture. The overhead gantry replace the drill components with the new jobs and the cycle continue. A continue flow of coolant ensures prompt heat dissipation from jobs and drills and helps in dispensing the swarf.
