Kalsi Machinery offers Sewing Machine, KMC 7000. This is a semi-automatic thread book sewing machine, ideal for section sewing of hardbound and paperback books. The machine is completely risked free as signatures are put on a moving chain. The variable speed of the machine is monitored with a knob. Section sewing with lining is an additional feature of the machine that strengthens hardbound books. One can get double output on this machine in comparison to an ordinary machine. Technical data: largest size of book: 425 x 225 mm (16.5" x 9"); smallest size of book: 150 x 100 mm (6" x 4"); speed: 110-150 sections/minute; and motor: 0.75 kW (1 hp), 1400 rpm with variable speed controller.
