Machine Tools (India) offers Hydromat Series of Rotary Transfer Machines manufactured by K R Pfiffner AG, Switzerland, based on electro hydraulic system. Hydromat machines are available in both horizontal and vertical configuration. In horizontal configuration, the machine is available with 10, 12 and 16 stations with job handling capacity of up to 45 mm diameter bar. In vertical configuration machine is available with 8 and 12 stations. Hydromat machines are ideal to produce complex work piece with high precision and shortest cycle time from bar stock or even from coil and blanks. The machine is designed for various machining operation like turning, milling, drilling, deep hole drilling, thread cutting, machining complex external and internal contours as well as marking operation in single set up. The main advantage of Hydromat machines are: eliminates secondary operations; no cams are used; the fee rate is infinitely variable for each station; fully automatic bar feed and cut off technology; large material savings compared to multi-spindle or single spindle machines; simultaneous cross-machining operations; quick change tooling heads; and compact design. Hydromat machines are designed to work 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
