Rotary Transfer Machine For Brass Goods

The Gnutti rotary transfer machine, which is a ball-screw driven, CNC, six-station model, has been developed for very fast machining of brass goods, fittings, and automotive parts. This trunnion-type high production machine is equipped with an Allen-Bradley control unit. An electromechanical indexing turret, with horizontal self-centering chucks and a horizontal axis, rotates on a mono-constructed base of double-webbed walls. The 11 unit system includes six ballscrew fed boring units and five combination boring/tapping units. All units are equipped with variable speed. An optional U axis, a CNC cross-feed head, permits single point threading. The system has an automatic loading/unloading pelletized mechanism.
