Pipe preparation machines, cobra series

Centerprise offers Cobra Series pipe preparation machines. These are most versatile pipe bevelling machines presently available, covering a tube range from 1/2" (12 mm) ID to an OD of 12-3/4" (325 mm). The machines are compact yet has the power to bevel tube or pipe on the outside diameter, inside diameter or both simultaneously. These versatile machines use internal self-entering mandrels, which align themselves on the inside of the work piece. Due to this, the operator does not have to bear any load and torque during operation, making the operation precise and fatigue free. The bore locking mechanism is quick and simple to use and the shafts are easily assembled, therefore saving valuable production time. The radial cutter head is fitted as standard and covers the whole range of tube sizes. For confined areas the small cutter head is required to enable the machine to fit between tubes on panels boilers (water wall panels) as it is only 60 mm diameter. For this type of work a right angle feed mechanism can be fitted if required. All tube runner Cobra machines use needle roller bearings throughout and are engineered to suit the tough demands required of them. The unique bearing arranged ahead of cutter allows a very stable cutting operation.
