Integrated Punching-Shearing Machine

Meiban Engineering Technologies offers Salvagnini’s S4X Integrated Punching-Shearing Machine. Introduced in 1978, the S4X features numerous consolidated technological innovations, making it more competitive in terms of productivity, consumption and accuracy. One of the most important features of the S4X remains the multi-press head; its operating principle is one of the technological achievements that have made this system unique, flexible and competitive. Unlike traditional punching machines, the S4X has individual hydraulic station for each tool which can be activated any time and works independently of the others, with no need to stop for tool changes during the cycle. This principle has made the machine unbeatable in terms of productivity, cycle time and tool wear. Adjacent to the multi-press head and integrated in the same structure, is the shear option consisting of two lower blades, placed at right angles to each other, and two independent upper blades of 500 mm length. The shear can make cuts of any length, according to the program, and thus creates an extremely compact high-performance multifunctional system. It allows the incoming blank to be divided into parts of any size, without punch cutting scrap or pincer holding scrap. This optimises production, balancing the production when making multiple parts, kits or batches of one.
