Flat Lapping Machine

Amolik’s flat lapping machine laps ferrous as well as non-ferrous components to a very high degree of flatness and is a trouble-free machine that seldom needs any maintenance. The lapping plates are made out of special grade steel castings and come with 1, 2, 3, 4 or more conditioning rings depending on the model and the applications. Various models are available with lapping plate diameters from 300 to 1500 mm. The larger models can also be used for salvaging the rejections in components due to grinding operations, there by making it a multi utility machine. It has an arrangement of bearing such that the run-out accuracy is maintained over a very long period. The machine mounted control panel houses a variable speed drive along with a timer and an hour meter apart from the various control and indication elements. Flatness of one light band can be achieved on the components that are conducive to such accuracies. A variety of dead weights and carriers can be offered to suit the component to be lapped.
