The Electric Pipe Bevelling Machine is ruggedly designed to take on harsh site conditions and can operate at any place where a single-phase AC supply is available. The collet of the machine is placed in the ID of the pipe (the collet size depends on the ID of the pipe). By tightening the nut behind the feed handle the jaws of the collet expand and clamp on the ID. This gives a very positive and secure grip. By turning the feed handle the cutting tools mounted on the cutter head now starts beveling the pipe.
