Metal Joining Products

Arora Matthey offers a wide range of Metal Joining Products. These include: silver – copper eutectic – of nominal composition 72% Ag: Cu, melting point 778 degree C is manufactured in the form of wire, strip, washers, etc. It is used for brazing on assemblies, which will be used in vacuum conditions, e.g., electron tubes, vacuum interrupters, etc; and Noble metal brazing alloys – various palladium and gold based alloys are manufactured in the form of wire or strip to customer’s specification. The most popular ones are: pallabraze 1225: 30% Pd: Ag, melting range degree C 1150/1225; orobraze 998: 37.5% Au:Cu, melting range 980/998 degree C. These alloys are mainly used for fluxless brazing in vacuum or protective atmosphere, e.g., components of transmitting tubes.
