Takurobo is a desktop selective soldering system aimed at zero defect soldering, introduced by Koki Tech Corp., Japan. It can control solder amount as well as time, required at each soldering point. It performs a triple role of high mix/low volume production, prototype and reworking. It’s miniaturised body and reduced cost, makes selective soldering more accessible. It has high quality soldering robot to re-place soldering-iron types. It can reduce “heat load” imposed on soldered PCBs because of lower operating temperature than soldering-iron types. It enables easy creation of NC programs by retrieving Gerber/scanner data.
