Power Presses, Open Back Inclinable & 'C' Frame

Sarb Presses offers Open Back Inclinable and `C’ Frame Power Presses. Installation: insure that the machine is perfectly on level and for this use a precision level. Machine to be secured to a good foundation otherwise vibration will appear while operating the machine. There should be minimum 1000 mm space on all the four side of the press. Starting: mount the electric motor plate and connect it with the starter as per wiring diagram. Before putting V belts be sure of it that motor is running in correct direction otherwise machine will met with an accident, fly wheel should run at correct speed and correct direction. Lubrication: clean the machine thoroughly with clean cotton waste and lubricate with clean oil or grease of correct grade. If the machine is fitted with lubricator pump then pump it four five times oil will come to all points. For the best performance of press it is most important that recommended lubrications are used regularly. How to operate: the press is put into action by means of treadle. After every stroke the machine uncouples automatically and ram returns to its top position. The press works at a single stroke, but can be run continuously. Alignment: before putting the press in operation, alignment should be checked to avoid any damage to the die. For this precision dial indicator and straight edge should be used. For adjustment side bolts are provided on the both sides of gibs of the press. Lock in the ram: after tool setting it should be checked that lock has been tightened in the ram. Brake adjustment: a powerful brake has been provided on the left side of the press this is to maintain the balance of fly wheel of big gear. It should be checked before the machine put in operation, that brake is in working order. There should not be any oil or grease in brake otherwise press will create noise.
