Pneumatic ‘C’ Type Press

SARB Presses (P) Ltd offers a Pneumatic ‘C’ Type Press, designed to resist deflection, and provide accurate pressings and longer die life, even at full tonnage loads. The heavy one piece welded steel frame is fully stress relieved and designed to provide a stable base for the power press. SARB power presses are provided with combination pneumatic clutch the clutch engagement is through air. The brake is automatically applied immediately after clutch is released, thus avoiding overlapping; to match with the automation line, the press provides the most reliable and accurate equipment. Electrical controls: the pneumatically operated presses are supplied with electrical controlled for power on/off of the main motor with two hand engagement for once, inches or continuous operation plus a foot switch. A lockable selector switch for once, inch and continuous mode of operation is provided on 100, 160, 200 and 250 tonne capacity presses. The presses are equipped with reliable dual solenoid valve, prevents from faulty operation by electrical lockout. The two hand engagement device that triggers emergency stop is a standard feature. The electrical equipment/components used are in line with the latest safety measure. Slide counter balanced: pneumatic counter balance is provided to counter the weight of the slide and tooling which help in taking up the bearings clearance. This eases the slide adjustment and smooth movement as well of the slide and effective braking. Pneumatic clutch brake: the single disc clutch has the advantages like continuous jolt free stroke, no adjustment is needed to correct wear on the facings. A self-ventilating provision increases its performance. The operation is safe and fast.
