Mechanical press brake

Chawla Machine Tools manufactures "Tee" power operated press brakes manufactured under stringent quality control. The body is steel fabricated. The design of the press brake is such that the load coming on ram and bed is fully concentrated on C-frames exactly at central line. The fork type connecting links mounted on the side frames drives the ram through ball joint thereby avoiding eccentric loads. Disc type powerful clutch and brake provided is highly efficient and requires low pressure to operate. It is capable of picking up loads from standing start. The manual ram adjustment is up to press brake of 25 mt and motorised ram adjustment for all press brakes is above 25 mt. The unique feature of dog type coupling is offered to give ease of operation in disconnection of either right or left hand screw in order to tilt the arm. Two limit switches are provided to restrict the travel of ram beyond screw length. Twin gear system (except in 20 mt) provides balanced transmission of torque on the eccentrics. Open throat permits the forming of sheets longer than the distance between the housings and permits dies to be changed easily. Available in tonnage capacities from 20 mt to 140 mt, thickness capacities from 1.5 mm to 8 mm and bending widths from 1.525 mts to 3.125 mts.
