Sack & Kiesselbach GmbH, Germany, offers hydraulic upstroking production press Model PP. The PP Series is designed for the technology of cold-massive forming using one-station tools and for feeding by hand. The upstroking drive ensures a maximum of security for the operators. The press is used for preforming, cold flow-pressing, calibrating and straightening as well as coining. Upstroking drive, press frame in one-piece rigid cast-iron construction, hydraulics designed for maximum working pressure of 315 bar, drive by axial piston pump with variable flow making pressing speed infinitely variable, sensitive adjustment of the pressing force, are the special facilities provided by the press. Coining of toothings, eg, sickle-sections and denture clutches can be performed. The press can be used for cold flow pressing of components of non-ferrous material; coining of medals, decorations and surgical instruments; calibrating of sintered parts, eg, clutch plates, filter plates and formed parts; forming of tableware and cutlery; swaging of wire rope clamps; as well as cold flow pressing of components of non-ferrous material. Driving aggregate for S- or N- type, upper ejector, light-barrier for additional protection of the operators and for control of the press, feeding robot, facilities for easy tool change, hobbing device and separate drive for ejectors are the special features of this press. This production press is used with standard equipment such as bottom ejector, preparation for installation of upper ejector, cooling system with filter for the hydraulic oil, two-hand safety control desk, etc, claims the firm.
