Hydraulic Moulding Presses

Friends Hydraulics offers hydraulic moulding presses. These machines are specifically designed for pressing of parts in heated moulds. These are ideally suited for moulding thermosetting plastics such as phenol-formaldehyde, urea-formaldehyde, melamine formaldehyde, rubber and fibreglass, etc. These hydraulic vertical down stroking compression moulding presses have welded steel fabricated structure. The pressing cylinder is made from forged steel accurately machined and ground. Piston is made of forged steel. Synthetic rubber seals of high quality are used in the cylinders. Two stage highly efficient pump drives the pressing ram. High volume low pressure pump ensures high approach and return speed and low volume pressure pump gives pressing speed. The change of fast speed to slow pressure speed is automatic. The oil tank is large enough to keep oil temperature well below 60°C.
