Combined Punching & Laser Press

Trumpf introduces the Trumatic 600 laser press. It has a turbo laser with optional 1.5 or 2.2 kW beam output in piggyback position. Air cushions protect the unit against vibrations during punching operations. For laser cutting the machine is lowered. Punching takes place with a punching force of 220 kN and 600 hits a minute. Major functions of the laser press include rotation of all tools, tapping, engraving, SoftPunch for low-noise punching, and several forming options. The design of the co-ordinate guide ensures dynamic and precise positioning of the sheet metal in relation to the punching centre. The maintenance-free AC servomotors are connected to the NC control via a digital interface, enabling optimized acceleration operations.
