Combination Laser/Punch Press

Trumatic 600 LaserPress optimizes both laser and punch technologies in a combination machine that does not compromise on standard features while offering futuristic components such as digital drives, irmovative control technology and operation procedures based on user"s needs. The multi-functioned machine offers complete processing, allowing the user to perform various operations without moving the workpiece from one machine to another. Despite its small footprint, the LaserPress 600 is adept at a variety of operations that would traditionally take several machines including: punching standard contours with one stroke laser-cutting delicate inside and outside contours with a burr-free edge, tapping, forming, and paint proofmarking with stamping and marking tools. For even more flexibility, the LaserPress 600 can be equipped with a Trumalift Sheetmaster for automatic sheet loading and unloading, and part sorting capabilities. The intelligent punch head design controls the length of stroke and punch force of the electrohydraulic ram drive, depending upon the tool and material being used, for quick and reliable machining while maintaining a low decibel level. As with all Trumpf CNC punch presses, tools can be rotated a total of 360 degrees, minimizing the number of tools and tool changes required for ajob. All Trumpf tooling can be used on the LaserPress 600 including Multitool, Whispertool, forming and tapping tools. The LaserPress 600 can be equipped with a Trumpf TLF 1500 or 2200 turbo CO2, high frequency-excited laser. The laser head uses a Digitil Intelligent Height System (DIAS) to maintain a constant distance between the cutting nozzle and the workpiece. This ensures that the laser beam remains focused for precise cutting, even on preformed pieces.
