Weldor Engineering manufactures CNC Turret Punch Press, Model Welpro 255. Machine highlights: high speed punching with a hydraulic system that dramatically increases ram speed and eliminates unnecessary ram motion; a valve coupled with 2-pressure 2-flow control, provides fast high-low pressure change within one stroke, lengthening oil life and greatly saving power consumption; single track - 20 station thick turret; 2-auto index mechanism - can set tool automatically with 360º at high speed revolution, minimises the inventory for tools; auto repositioning - precise repositions can be achieved by NC controlled work clamp repositions, the sheet holder holds the sheet while the clamps ensures processing accuracy; low noise operation; ram approaches the material slowly and hence the impact noise and part distortion is reduced; and pneumatically operated floating sheet clamps designed to minimise the material distortion when punching near the clamp. The CNC system used is Siemens 810D, a four axis system to control table (X, Y), turret rotation (TUR) and auto index (C).
