Wimett Hardmetals offers solid carbide 2 flute through coolant standard length drill DIN 338 which is a cost economical multipurpose single tool for drilling holes in several different materials all of high tensile strength (approx 100 N/mm2). These include: cast steel, high alloyed steel, heat treatable steel, stainless steel, hardened steel, inconel, brass, bronze, aluminium silicon alloy, etc. These tough and rigid drills produce deep and also accurately sized holes with excellent surface finish at high speed and feed rates. Wimett drills are engineered with precision modified special point geometry that facilitates easy workpiece penetration. These drills are also provided with spiral through coolant holes through which coolant reaches up to the cutting edge keeping it and hence imparting tool longer life. Also, due to high pressure of coolant chips are evacuated easily and possible breakage of drill while in operation due to clogging of chips is eliminated. These are available in wide diameter range from 0.7 mm up to 25 mm both coated and uncoated solid carbide. These drills work best with machining centers, CNC lathes and accurate Toolholders.
