Bonfiglioli Engineering SrL are leaders in leak testing technology and are manufacturers of automatic machines for micro-leak testing. The leak testing machines are available for plastic and metal packaging containers, pouches and sealed bags (Flo pack), aluminium and laminate tubes, aerosol cans, food cans and industrial containers, with models available. Bonfiglioli also produces the FR type cutting and milling system for the milling of plastic containers on a blow moulding line. The leak test system consists of inserting a testing head on the container in order to create an airtight artificial chamber. The air around the container inside the testing chamber is sucked out and a negative pressure is created. Specially designed sensors monitor the vacuum changes during the whole test cycle. Machines are available for pharmaceutical and food manufacturing.
