Universal Tube Bender For Single Bend High Production Applications

The compact Lomar S1110 universal tube bender is said to consistently produce single bend tubes for a lower initial capital investment than conventional dedicated benders. The S1110 compression style bender repeatedly produces tubes to OEM tolerances on bends up to 90 degrees. Maximum tube size is 3/4"x 0.065"steel wall. A hard stop sets the degree of bend for excellent duplication. Hydraulic cylinders provide clamping and bending forces. Air cylinders power the pressure dies. Bend modules mount on both sides of the clamp, providing the versatility of a left- and right-hand bender. The 10-HP, 1,725 RPM hydraulic unit is integral to the machine. It requires 230/460-volt 3-phase electrical and 60 psi (minimum) shop air to operate. The complete machine measures only 3-1/2' wide x 4-1/2' deep x 6-1/2'high. Changing tooling is said to be quick and easy with simple hand tools. In addition, operational locator kits can consistently position a tube assembly for bending multiple bends. The compact size allows two or more S1110 benders, with different tooling, to fit easily within a production cell. Each machine mounts on heavy duty urethane casters for quick placement anywhere on the production floor. The operator simply places the tube in the clamp and starts the bending cycle. The cycle time takes 3 seconds to produce a 90-degree bend. Either dual opto-touch buttons or optional light curtains help assure operator safety during operation.
