Solid Carbide Thread Mills

Wimett offers thread mills for production of internal and external threads by CNC machining. These come in both solid carbide and solid carbide through coolant version and they are alternative to thread cutting or thread forming. They are offered: with perfect profile of thread and extremely fine finish and precision tolerance of thread is well controlled; for increased cutting speeds and feeds while machining; and for cutting hard and exotic materials. There is perfect positional accuracy of threads produced in between holes. There is correct depth control of threads and full bottom threading. These thread mills can machine variety of thread diameters of same pitch - there is less requirement of torque compared to conventional taps and good hole production in thin walled jobs. Unlike in taps where reversal of spindle is required. No reversal of spindle is required in these. Available for every application: UN, UNC, UNF, UNS, UNEF, Metric, M, MF, Taper threads, NPT, NPTF, BSF, ROPE threads, ACME, Trapezoidal, oil valve threads, etc. Solid carbide thread mills are available for machining 2 mm dia hole to 500 mm dia in any length.
