Specifications: sizes – 12'' x 16'' x 30'', 14'' x 18'' x 36'', 16'' x 18'' x 42'' and 21'' x 24'' x 36''; roller – chilled cast iron rollers hollow cast duly grounded on working face having surface hardness 450/520 BHN having depth of chilled 18 mm; reduction gear – Greaves/Shanti make helical reduction gearbox; lubrication – grease lubrication system to lubricate bearings fitted in housing; roll clearance adjusting unit – nip adjustment at two roller ends is done manually using two separate screws attached to the brass housing body; stand – heavy-duty steel fabricated with steel caps; bull gear – steel fabricated spur teeth hobbing cut; pinion – forged steel pinion with spur teeth hobbing cut; coupling – gear coupling; base frame – single piece steel fabricated base accurately machined for fitment of auxiliary equipment; plug braking – mill shall be provided with plug braking attachment; and motor – ABB/Kirloskar.
