PLANO MILLERS

Sharda Foundry offers Plano Millers. It is used for extra heavy-duty applications. It is a double column plano miller, power packed, capable to deliver precision and enhance performance and profitability. It can be equipped with up to two milling heads on cross rail suitable for 125-315 mm dia cutters, side milling head suitable for 125-250 mm dia cutter or even a boring head having 100-125 mm dia spindle. The milling head spindle run out within 10 microns, gears and shafts made from alloy steel duly case hardened and ground are suitable for heavy stock removal. The power packed table drive unit delivers variable table feeds and rapid reverse. The guideways are adequately lubricated with motorized lubrication. Motorised automatic lifting of cross rail and motorised automatic cross feed for milling heads reduce idle time and thus enhance machine efficiency. The plano millers are extra robust with rigid box section structure suitable to withstand shocks and heavy cutting loads, have sturdy frames ranging from 3000 mm stroke up to 15000 mm stroke and are suitable for jobs up to 5000 mm between columns and 3000 mm height. The plano millers are trouble free, productive, and highly accurate and are proven performers.
