Mini Bed-Type Vertical Milling Machine

The vertical miller from Main Machines is manually operated and mounted on a cabinet base which is of rigid welded construction with both side trays. All the sides are fitted with taper wedge with hand scraped seat so as to ensure perfect performance without any vibration. Micrometer dial is graduated to read a least count of 0.001"in the cross as well as vertical movement of the table. The drive is transmitted by Vee belt direct from the motor which is controlled by a rotary switch. A lever is provided to release the belt to facilitate belt changing for the speed selection. The machine is suitable for die making, facing or any machining work in bulk or in mass production and general engineering industries. Its specifications are: table size: 440 x 150 mm, longitudina movement: 175 mm, cross movement: 175 mm, and verticai movement: 175 mm.
