Sanki Machine Tools offers Chevalier brand CNC bed type milling machine manufactured by Falcon Machine Tools Co, Taiwan. This is available in two models, 2040MB and 2040HB. Both are with Fanuc 0-MD control, the former also equipped with Autocon Dynapath 40M control. These machines are designed and built for heavy production and high accuracies, combining versatility with extensive capacity. The casting is rigid honeycomb ribbed type of meehanite cast iron, stress relieved by annealing to provide rigid machine structure. High precision ball screws directly coupled to AC servo drives mounted with 2 pieces of specialised ball screw support bearings provide improved machining accuracy. High rigid squareways on column and base, dovetail ways on table. Guideways and gibs are coated with Turcite ?-B and precisely hand scraped to provide maximum load bearing surface area for heavier load capacities and higher cutting forces, ensuring increased machine life. The high precision spindle is supported by angular contact ball bearings, the dynamically well balanced spindle drive providing extremely smooth and quiet, low vibration drive. The table is specially designed enlarged 59"x 17"(1500 mm x 430 mm) casting for an effective coolant drain and working area. Automatic lubrication system includes metering values and ensures proper lubrication of the machine.
