Milling Machine

Deckel Maho, Germany, introduces modern successor to the almost legendary Milling Machine FP-4M for laboratory, workshop and training centres. Tle successor differs not only by the exterior but even the interior. It complies with the latest machine building technology. The machine is designed with a modern control column construction with inherently rigid, ribbed cast frame which makes the machine more precise and reliable even under high strain. The guiding area is above the cutting area and hence well protected from dust, chips and other foreign particles. The most outstanding highlight of the machine where additional functionality is concerned is the swivel rotary table. This provides a B and a C axis so that five side machining in a single chucking is possible. The electronic handwheels for the individual axes permit highly precise manual operation. The extended version of DMU-50M is the DMU-50T. It is with a tool changer and a high enclosed operating cabin. In conjunction with optionally available 3D path control system Millplus or Heidenhain TNC 426, it automates the small batch production.
