Hi-Tech CNC Marketing & Services offers First brand vertical milling machine, Model LC 11/2 TM/VS from Long Chang Machinery & Co, Taiwan. The machine has a working surface of 1,067 x 230 mm and a travel of 762 mm longitudinal, 305 mm cross and 406 mm in the vertical. It can be offered with a choice of variable speed head or 8-step speed head, 2 HP or 3 HP motor for variable speed head or 16-speed spindle for step head. The gibbed and double locked ram design ensures rigidity and limited clearance between ram and adapter. The quill and housing are selectively fitted and it offers extremely high spindle accuracy. A choice of R8 or NST 40 spindle is offered with angular contact ball bearings. It has a simple and reliable one-shot lubrication system to lubricate all slideways and leadscrews. There are also bigger size models of LC 185 TM/VS and LC 195 TM/VS. There is also a bed type model, LC 50 R/RS, which can be used as a jig boring machine. All castings are X-ray analysed, annealed and naturally seasoned before machining. Hence all castings are minimum 1 year old before they reach the customer. The forward reverse swivelling of the head is clamped from both the sides with 6 bolts as compared to one side clamping with 3 holes in normal machines. The complete machine is powder coated, giving a better finish.
