Milling Machine, Knee Type

Emtex Machinery offers Knee Type Milling Machines. The rigid spindle housing, cross ribbed box type column structure, and the closed box type knee design ensure optimum chip removal and surface finish. Spindle taper is ISO 50, table size is 1320 x 320 mm, table travel is 800(750) x 300 mm, spindle speed ranges from 58-1800 RPM and distance of spindle to table surface ranges from 0-400 mm. The rigid structure ensures vibration free and smooth machining. There are automatic feeds on X, Y axis, motorised lifting and lowering of table on Z axis. Optimum spacing of precision taper roller bearings ensures vibration free cutting. A common nut adjusts the bearing preload, and provision is made for central lubrication for guide ways and lead screws, splash lubrication for speed and feed gearing. An electric pump mounted at the rear of the machine base ensures copious flow of coolant to the work zone. The coolant is discharged into the built-in coolant tank in the machine base. Lead screw is there with two nuts for backlash free setting. Feed selection is by sliding gear drive. Reversal of movement direction is through motor reversal; and dead accurate stop is through brake clutch. The change over and rapid traverse feed are through multi disc clutch.
