High Speed Milling Machines

Fidia SpA introduces high speed milling machines with three or five axes. The Digit machine range comprises four basic models with travels on the X-axis from 600 to 4,000 mm, on the Y-axis from 400 to 1,000 mm, and on the Z-axis from 300 to 800 mm. All machines are available in three-, four- and five-axis versions and with spindle powers from six to 20 kW and speeds of 20,000 to 42,000 RPM. These milling machines are equipped with a numerical control system and are used for copper and graphite electrodes machining, aluminium moulds machining and finishing, and machining of hardened steel moulds.
