High Speed Milling Machine

For the series production of milled parts made out of aluminium die-casting, magnesium die-casting, nonferrous heavy metal and steel, Anton Anger Ges mbH has developed a high speed cutting machine. The spindle units are mounted vertically in a stationary linear frame. They are mounted in series so that the component to be machined is moved from one machining spindle unit to the next. This concept eliminates the need to change tools, thus greatly increasing repeatable accuracy. A unique feature of this machine is that the individual drilling and milling spindles can work simultaneously, running at different speeds ranging from 5,000 RPM to 200,000 RPM.
