Hammer mill

Moktali Engineering Co manufactures reversible impact type of hammer mills. It is used in crushing coal, limestone, etc. The direction of rotor can be reversed frequently to permit longer life of hammers and breaker plates. Depending on material to be crushed, hammers could be of 10-14% manganese steel or chrome-moly steel. The photograph shows a 1200 f x 1400 wide mill for limestone, crushing to 6 mm, being used in a cement plant. The connected motor is of 350 HP, driven through V-belts. Capacity is 150 TPH. Mills of other capacity are also available.
