Exhaust pipes for trucks, marine engines, earthmoving equipments, construction machinery, ship engines, etc, utilise large diameter pipes. Similar applications exist for parts used in fitness equipment and exhaust piping for multi storied buildings. Unipunch Toolings manufactures a hydraulic draw bending machine capable of bending steel pipes up to 90 dia x 2 mm thickness. This machine is also good for stainless steel pipes up to 50 mm dia (particularly useful in food processing equipments). The machine has the following major specifications: pipe size – 90 x 2 mm thick x 3000 mm; hydraulic power for bending, clamping, pressure die and mandrel retraction; PLC control; and power requirement – 5.0 HP.
