SMS Demag offers Cold Rolling Mills. The products are single stand mills and tandem mills for manufacturing flat products from steel and nonferrous metals. Products and services: 2-high, 4-high or 6-high mill stands for steel and nonferrous metals; 20-roll mills for stainless steel; single reducing stands; foil mill stands; tandem/ fully continuous cold rolling plants; pickling lines coupled with tandem mills; skin-pass mills. Special technologies: CVC(Plus) (Continuously Variable Crown) - increases the roll gap adjustment range; EDC (Edge Drop Compensation) - higher yield through better utilisation of the strip width; SCR (Special Crown Roll) improvement of the strip edge quality of ultra thin strip and foils; HES (Hot Edge Sprays) for aluminium rolling mills; and ESS (Enhanced Shifting Strategy) six-high stand with cylindrical rolls and intermediate roll shifting to the strip edge.
