Cnc Hardened Knee Mills For Tool And Die Applications

The American Eagle 300 CNC mill incorporates a simple-to-operate two or three-axis control. Built around a standard knee mill configuration, it maintains knee, ram and head movements which provide added flexibility to any shop. Hardened and ground squareways, an extra wide knee, and precision ball leadscrews provide the accuracy and rigidity required for CNC work. Standard features include a high performance AC spindle motor, and RS-232 input/ output. The Eagle Model 400 CNC mill is designed to exceed most CNC milling machine performance specificafions. Equipped with the Anilam Series 1400 control, the milling machine gives the operator a range of programming assists. The 400 CNC mill is made of Meehanite casting. The one-piece head/ram eliminates deflection and error found in adjustable turret-type and multi-piece fixed head machines. The use of superior "Turcite ? B" on way surfaces and square ways on column and knee, ensure smooth, strong and lasting performance. Standard features include a high performance 5-HP continuous, backgeared spindle motor, extra wide 40" saddle, 1-1/2 HP power knee, and the ability to handle up to five-axis milling operations.
